Position SummaryThe Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing is responsible for supporting primarily the Medicare Advantage and other related Medicare lines of business by developing and executing direct-to-consumer (prospect and member) marketing strategies and their corresponding tactical executions for the Regional markets he/she is responsible to oversee.
Using the National strategy as the basis, the Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing will work in close collaboration with their local market partners, the greater Medicare marketing team, and sales business partners to drive membership acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities to include:• Develop and direct the local market strategy and tactical operating plans with the Regional/local teams
• Optimize marketing plans to support increased market share
• Analyze local market results, competitive landscape and other key market and consumer insights to determine regional opportunities and message positioning
• Represent Region and Product points of view to greater Marketing team to deliver effective marketing messaging in the local markets
• Support member retention and provider relations marketing efforts
• Liaison between Marketing, external agencies and Regional sales team
• Regional marketing budget management
Required Qualifications• 8+ years of experience in Marketing, Agencies or Consulting roles
• Strong strategic, critical thinking, and conceptual abilities; ability to contribute to strategic planning discussions
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
Preferred Qualifications• Heavy Direct-to-Consumer online and offline marketing experience,
• Experience adjusting to working styles/needs of others to establish strong relationships
• Outstanding relationship management and communication skills
• Strong tactical execution skills
• Ability to influence others, work effectively in a matrix environment, and interact with all levels of the organization
• B2B marketing experience
• Healthcare or Medicare experience
Education• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$90,480.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
